We don't normally enter competitions but the Missing Middle looked really interesting. Our proposal was for a manor house development, arranging 4 units on a site containing bushfire and flood risks.
The scheme tests the form or a conventional manor house arrangement to allow for a shared courtyard in addition to private gardens for each unit. The form of the proposal takes its cues from the mid-century modern ocean-liner architectural style, in reference to the site's coastal context.
